Our Consultants

WILLIAM DELENO, M.S., C.S.W., B.C.D. , is a graduate of the Columbia University School of Social Work, where he specialized in workplace issues. He is licensed to practice in the state of New York, and is a Board Certified Diplomate. For nearly a decade, Mr. DeLeno has worked in his private practice with men and women referred to him by Employee Assistance Programs, helping to improve — and in some cases, to save — their jobs. He has extensive training in systems theory, Ericksonian hypnosis and Brief therapy; has trained graduate social work students and currently provides clinical supervision to other professionals. He is also a co-founder of The Forum for Psychotherapy Cybernetics of New York. Mr. DeLeno is available for consultation in Westchester County, NY

JOSEPH PASTORE, M.S. , is a graduate of the Columbia University School of Social Work and has a long history of providing short-term, results-oriented psychotherapy to people from all walks of life, as well as teaching graduate students and practicing professionals. As a small business owner/operator and business consultant for emerging and established businesses, he brings a unique combination of expertise and experience, both as an employee and an employer, to situations affecting people in the workplace. Mr. Pastore is available for consultation in Chapel Hill, N.C.

ILENE S. WEIDLER, A.C.S.W., B.C.D. , a graduate of Adelphi University School of Social Work, is licensed to practice clinical social work in New York and Arizona. She is a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers and a Board Certified Diplomate. Ms. Weidler has many years of experience in the areas of substance abuse, alcoholism and dually-diagnosed clients. She has worked in the public sector providing supervisory training for various agencies as well as the departments of corrections and nursing and police and fire departments. In the private sector, she served as clinical director for Innovative Health Systems Inc., a drug and alcohol facility. Ms. Weidler maintains a private practice working primarily with individuals (mostly women) and couples. Issues regarding life changes, problems with communication skills and sexual orientation are also her areas of expertise. Ms. Weidler is available for consultation in Westchester County, N.Y.

DONNA DELENO , B.A., has extensive experience as an activist and consultant focusing on abuse in the workplace and other work-related issues. As executive director of the Washington Coalition of Sexual Assault Programs, Ms. DeLeno provided technical assistance and training to over 40 agencies on issues including sexual harassment and abuse in the workplace; assertiveness training for women; developing personnel policies; employment and termination procedures; and resolving employee grievances. She has hired, fired, supervised and trained professionals, students, interns and volunteers. Ms. DeLeno has organized labor unions in hospitals and industries in the Pacific Northwest and in the Southeast; lobbied state legislatures on behalf of crime victims and women; assisted women with workplace problems at the Seattle chapter of “Working Women 9 to 5”; worked as a legislative intern; served on political action committees; and provided legislative trainings and advocacy for various women’s organizations. She has been a carpenter for union and non-union construction companies, and helped start “Women in the Trades,” a non-profit organization in Seattle, WA.

Donna Herman, C.S.W. , is a graduate of Fordham University School of Social Service and is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of New York. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers. Additionally she holds a post-masters certificate from a program specializing in intensive psychotherapy. For the last 15 years she has worked with several employee assistance programs and rehabilitation facilities providing counseling to people with job stress issues. She has worked extensively with chemically addicted individuals, adult children of alcoholics and their families. She has served as a supervisor of graduate social work students in a large human service center. Currently she maintains a private practice in Manhattan and Westchester County specializing in individual and couple counseling. Ms. Herman is available for consultation in Manhattan and Westchester County, New York.
